This week we are studying Elijah a man who stood toe to toe with the prophets of Baal on Mt. Carmel. There is also much spoken of him in the New Testament as well.

November 10th Study- Samuel

Hello Men,This Saturday we will be studying the life of Samuel. Obviously there is a lot about Samuel in the Scripture- my concordance says his name appears 139 times- primarily in I & II Samuel but also, I Chronicles 6:27-33, I Chronicles 9:22, I Chronicles 26:28, I Chronicles 29:29, II Chronicles 35:18, Psalm 99:6, Jeremiah 15:1, Acts 3:24, Acts 13:20 & Hebrews 11:32.To me Samuel seems to be one of the men of Scripture who walked especially close to God, perhaps because of his mother Hannah's dedication of him before he was even born.I look forward to hearing the insights that you bring about Samuel this Saturday.If you would like to do the marriage minute or bring doughnuts please let me know. If no one signs up for the doughnuts, I will get them and put a asket out for contributionsIMPORTANT NOTE: I hope everyone is aware that we are not having our breakfast this Saturday- it was moved to the 17th because the Harvest Festival was moved.
